Thirty-five years in real estate. Five markets across the country. One conviction: a home, an investment, or a career deserves more than a transaction. It deserves a strategy, a steady hand, and someone who actually picks up the phone. That is the work I do, and that is what brought me to Granbury.

How I got Here

Real estate has never been just a career for me — it’s been a lifelong journey of learning people, markets, leadership, negotiation, and how to navigate seasons of change with wisdom and steadiness.

I began in Minnesota in the late 1980s, learning the business from the ground up through nearly every role imaginable — from licensed agent and marketing assistant to escrow officer. Those early years gave me something invaluable: a deep understanding of how real estate truly works behind the scenes and how important it is to guide people well through major life and business decisions.

What started in residential sales eventually grew into a long commercial real estate career leading brokerage divisions, building commercial platforms, mentoring agents, and helping shape growing companies across Minnesota, California, and Texas. Along the way, I also experienced three cross-country relocations of my own — giving me firsthand understanding of the excitement, uncertainty, and emotional weight that often comes with starting over in a new place. Those experiences deepened not only my market knowledge, but also my empathy for the people I serve.

Over the years, experiences like earning my CCIM designation, leading teams, and working through changing markets have shaped the way I approach real estate — with thoughtful strategy, careful analysis, and a steady long-term perspective. More importantly, those years have taught me the value of listening well, communicating clearly, and helping people make decisions they can feel confident about long after the transaction is complete.

Today, that journey has brought me home to Granbury, where I help families find the right next chapter, retirees relocate with confidence, business owners and investors navigate opportunities wisely, and agents grow into stronger leaders and professionals. My approach is personal, relationship-centered, and grounded in the belief that real estate is ultimately about serving people well.

What guides my work

Passion.
What I love most about real estate after all these years has very little to do with transactions. It’s watching an agent begin to believe in themselves again, seeing a family step into a home they never thought was possible, or helping someone feel truly seen and understood during an important life decision. Those are the moments that still matter most to me.

Leadership.
I believe leadership starts with integrity, consistency, and the willingness to hold both myself and others to a high standard. Over the years, one of the greatest joys of my career has been mentoring agents into confident, capable leaders who serve people well, pursue excellence, and build businesses they can be proud of.

Experience.

There’s a depth that only comes from walking through decades of negotiations, market shifts, leadership roles, and real-life client situations. Over the years, I’ve learned how to stay steady in changing markets, recognize opportunity others may overlook, and help people make wise, confident decisions with both strategy and perspective guiding the process.

Purpose.
My faith has always been part of the foundation beneath my work, leadership, and the way I care for people. Through ministries like God’s Barn and Lydia’s Refuge, as well as serving alongside Theresa Dedmon Ministries, I’ve remained passionate about encouraging others to live and lead with purpose. I don’t believe in forcing faith into business conversations, but I do believe people can feel when they are genuinely cared for, valued, and served with integrity.

A note about working together

I do not take every client who calls. I take the ones I can genuinely help. If you are buying or selling in Granbury, relocating to Hood County, building a real estate career, or making a commercial decision, let us talk and find out together whether I am the right person for the work.
A first conversation is always free, always short, and always honest. If we are not a fit, I will tell you that - and likely point you to someone who is.
